Porsche 911 Turbo with Gulf Oil Wrap Looks Neat, And with 650HP is Pretty Fast as Well


It’s not only Porsche itself that is celebrating the 911's 50th anniversary this year, as a number of tuners have also jumped in on the festive bandwagon. Germany's Cam-Shaft says it's honoring the nameplate's golden anniversary with the release of a special package for the 997-generation (built from 2005 through 2011) 911 Turbo. Read more »

9ff Brings New Porsche 911-Based GT9 Vmax with 1,381hp to Essen Motor Show


When it comes to insane Porsche builds, few companies can compete with Germany's 9ff and especially its crown jewel, the GT9, which is appearing in an updated form at this week's 2012 Essen Motor Show.

The GT9 Vmax is a new edition of the 9ff's supercar that is loosely based on the previous Porsche 911.

Stefan Jacoby Steps Down as Volvo's CEO, is Replaced by Hakan Samuelsson


Stefan Jacoby's tenure as CEO of the Volvo Car Group has ended after only a little over two years with the Swedish carmaker announcing that he is being replaced by Håkan Samuelsson, currently Board member and former chief of MAN trucking, effective immediately.

Even though Jacoby did suffer a mild stroke last month, the vice chairman of Volvo Car Group, Hans-Olov Olsson told reporters that that his health was not the reason why Volvo's board members decided to replace him.
