Chrysler Wants to Take the Fight to the Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry with New 200 Sedan


The current Chrysler 200 was the group CEO’s effort to try and keep the old Sebring (on which the 200 is based) on the showroom floor, before they gathered enough money and engineering momentum to be able to create a talented all-new replacement. 2013.5 Chrysler 200 S Special Edition Heads to New York Auto Show


Chrysler has released information and photos on the 2013.5 200 S Special Edition model developed in collaboration with Detroit-based clothing manufacturer Carhartt.

Priced from $28,870 (€22,330), the 200 S Special Edition is powered by the 3.6-liter 283 horsepower Pentastar V6 engine and features exterior and interior customization packages that give it a more aggressive look than regular 200 models.

Chrysler 200 Sedan Replacement to Launch in January, Says Report


The current Chrysler 200 sedan will give its place to a brand new model in January, next year, according to a report from Autoweek. The publication says it obtained internal Chrysler documents indicating that production of the 2014 model year version of the current 200 will begin in July this year and come to a quick end in the second week of January 2014. The documents don't mention anything about the 200's Dodge sibling, the Avenger. Read more »

Chrysler Wants to Convince us that the 200 Convertible is as Exciting to Drive as a Flying Vehicle


Did you know that the 2012 remake of the 1990 blockbuster film "Total Recall" with Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale (who you may remember as the leather-clad vampire Selene in the Underworld movies) will showcase futuristic Chrysler and Dodge branded hovercraft vehicles?

But there's more to it; as part of a multitiered partnership with "Total Recall", Chrysler has also launched a new co-branded commercial to promote the 200 Convertible.

Colin Bonathan Revisits 2014 Chrysler 200 Sedan Design Study


A design study is not meant to be static, but should be at a constant state of evolution, which is precisely what Lawrence Technological University design student Colin Bonathan is doing with his conceptual renderings for a replacement of the Chrysler 200.

In these latest drawings, which come a little over a month after we showed you Bonathan's previous take on Chrysler's mid-size sedan, we see a different execution of the front- and rear-end designs, while he also made changes to the shape of the roofline and the profile details.
