Jeep Upgrades 2014 Compass and Patriot Models with 6-Speed Auto

Making their world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit alongside the refreshed 2014 Grand Cherokee are two more Jeep models, the 2014 Compass and Patriot.

Both Jeeps gain a new six-speed automatic transmission that will be available either as standard on certain Latitude and Limited models or optional on the Sport.

The Patriotic Patriot: Jeep Honors Those Who Served with New Freedom Edition

The Chrysler Group is honoring Veterans Day 2012 through a special edition version of its Jeep Patriot crossover that pays tribute to United States military members of past and present.

Named the Freedom Edition, the special Patriot is offered in red, white or blue with bespoke military-inspired features not found on the regular model.

Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge Models Recalled Over Two Separate Issues

The Chrysler Group has issued two separate recalls for some of its 2012 models. The first one affects 1,689 Jeep Patriot and Compass crossovers built from December 17, 2011, through January 2, 2012, because of a potential problem with the fuel tank assembly's roll-over valve. Read more »
