Ferrari Issues Bizarre Statement Telling Employees to Send Same Email Only to 3 People

If not always, most of the times, internal memos are just that; internal, and when they come out in the open for all to see, we tend to call it a leak. The reason why we're saying all this is a press statement from Ferrari today titled "Ferrari: less email and more dialogue between co-workers".

You can read the statement in full right below the break, but in a nutshell, it informs us that all Ferrari employees "will be talking to their colleagues more" from now on because the company has set much firmer limits to the number of emails sent inside the company and in particular, the same message can only be directed to three people.

How Fuzzy-Wuzzy: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano in a Velvet Wrap

By definition, all Ferrari models easily stand out in a sea of conventional, mundane-looking cars on the road, but some exotics proudly featuring the Prancing Horse badge on their hood are more eye-catching than others are - albeit not always for the right reasons. Read more »

Surprise…FGearTV Says 12-Year Old Ferrari Owner Story Was a Hoax

As many suspected when the crew from FGearTV shared a video of a 12-year old boy from the UK named Callum, who purportedly bought three Ferrari models including a F355, a 458 Italia and a 599GTO, after selling an app to Google for £8.5 million (or $8.5 million, it wasn't made clear) at the age of just 9, the story was nothing more than a hoax. Michael Schumacher’s Unique Black Ferrari FXX Could Be Yours for €2.03 Million

It goes without saying that, when the people at Ferrari offer one of their drivers a unique car as a gift, they don’t expect to find it later up for sale in online classifieds… If the folks at Maranello were to check the website of a Swiss exclusive car dealer called Garage Zénith, they would be surprised to find two very special Ferraris that belonged to Michael Schumacher. 12-Year Old Kid Buys 3 Ferrari Models After Selling App to Google, But Is It True?

Here's the thing with the story you're about to read and watch: we don't know if we're supposed to feel amazed, jealous or suspicious. To sum it up, the super- and sports-car loving crew over at FGear.TV on YouTube, posted a video interview of a 12-year old kid, likely from the UK judging by his accent, who currently owns not one, not two but three Ferrari models. If true, it would make him the youngest owner of Maranello's creations in the world that we've heard about.

The video description reads: "We met up again with 12 year old Callum who purchased a Ferrari when he was 10. Now, he has 3 Ferrari's including a 458 and a 599GTO and soon to be a star in a documentary series."

BMW M5 Races Ferrari F430 Scuderia Through the Streets of NYC

We’d all love to own a car with over 500 hp, and drive it every day – there are lots of vehicles to choose from which fit these two criteria, at increasingly affordable prices. However, the danger is that you won’t have anywhere to really drive them, aside from a racetrack, which requires booking and is not necessarily cheap. Read more »

How to Turn a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider into a Family Car for Five

We could always be wrong, but from the little we know about Italian exotics, the creative minds in Maranello designed and developed the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider for two people - a driver and a passenger.

Perhaps the owner of this bright yellow 458 Spider in Dubai was in a time squeeze of sorts, or maybe his Rolls-Royce Phantom limousine and Range Rover SUV were both unavailable.

Mexico is the next big thing for luxury automakers, Ferrari North America CEO Marco Mattiacci believes. “Mexico is the next China,” the executive said during a discussion about the future of the luxury industry.

According to Mattiacci, the massive growth anticipated in revenue and manufacturing is not necessarily due to Ferrari, but more to the expansion of the auto industry in the last 13 years because of dramatic wealth creation, increased appetite for industry and important investments from abroad.

Ferrari 458 Italia Spotting: Cool Color or Uncool Photoshop Trickery?

We love us some unique shades on special cars – painted, foil wrapped or even photoshopped, just as long as we are aware of what it is that are we are looking at.

This picture of a Ferrari 458 Italia coupe seemingly dressed in a tinted, chromed-eggplant-like shade was reportedly shot by a member of the Autogespot forums named "Königsallee Chilla" in Dusseldorf, Germany, and was shared by the site's moderators on their Facebook page with the title "Wow! This will get you dizzy!".

Chris Harris Sells Ferrari 599 Because it Was Too Expensive to Run and Maintain

Chris Harris seemed plenty chuffed last year when he bought his very own second-hand 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB. You may remember him making the argument for buying the car, and how 599s were plentiful and had come down in price – if your memory acting up, see the video below. However, Mr. Harris has now been faced with the brutish reality of actually owning one, and has sold the car.

In a posting on Pistonheads, he said it is a case of overestimating one’s financial power and underestimating the running and maintenance costs associated with a car like the 599.

Lamborghini, Ferrari and Other Luxury Cars go up in Flames on Thai Trailer [w/Video]

Here's a story that's being making the news rounds in Thailand today, and all for good reason, because, while it's not uncommon for exotic supercars to catch fire on the road individually, having four of them turned into useless scrap metal on a transport trailer is a rare occasion, to say the least.

Yet it happened on a road in the resort district of Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, in Thailand when a fire that is said to have started on a BMW, which spread on a Lamborghini Mucilageo and then onto a Ferrari F430 and a Bentley Continental. A motorist from the opposite lane purportedly alerted the driver of the truck about the fire.
