Watch a C-17 Drop Off a Humvee in the Air, Plus Bonus Clip of IED Training Simulator

You have surely seen cars being parachuted to earth in movies, but we all know about the deceptive digital wonders of the cinematic world, so how about a video of the real thing?

Enter the realm of the U.S. army and the paratroopers from the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) of the 25th Infantry Division, who were filmed while dropping palletized heavy equipment including a…Humvee from a (if we’re not mistaken) Boeing C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, which is located just two miles north of Anchorage in Alaska.

Gulf Lotus X12 is One Giant Hodge-Podge of Ugliness

Good Times: U.S. Army Humvee Street Races a Korean Army Kia Retona

In all fairness, we are not sure if we should call any duel between a U.S. army Humvee and a Republic of Korea (ROK) Army Kia Retona, a small 4x4 based on the Kia Sportage from the late 1990s, a street race, but if anything else, these guys seem to be enjoying themselves.

Watch the amusingly slow street race between the two armed forces in the video that follows after the break.
