Brabus Thinks Wider and More Powerful GL 63 AMGs Are Better


For some reason, the folks from Brabus believe that the market badly needs a wider, more powerful Mercedes GL 63 AMG. This is why the German aftermarket specialists released the Brabus B63 – 620 Widestar, a souped-up GL 63 AMG that comes with 611 horsepower (620 PS), a wide body kit and an upgraded interior.

The Brabus Widestar body conversion for the new GL-Class features striking fender flares front and back that add 8 centimeters (3.1 inches) to the width of the behemoth SUV.

Brabus Gives the New Mercedes-Benz CLA Some Light Upgrades


There's no way that the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA would have gone unnoticed by the aftermarket specialists at Brabus, which has developed a light tuning package for the front- and all-wheel drive premium saloon.

To make the CLA look sportier, Brabus offers Monoblock wheels in diameters of 18 or 19 inches in five different designs. Brabus says the largest version, with wheels sized 8.5Jx19 and tires up to 255/30 ZR 19 for the rear axle, provide even more dynamic looks and handling.

Brabus Butches Up Mercedes SL65 AMG with 800 Roadster


For most drivers, the last thing missing from the latest Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is power, since the R231-codenamed hardtop roadster comes with more than enough oomph, thanks to its 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine rated for 621hp (630PS) and 1,000Nm (737 lb-ft).

Nevertheless, if you're one of those few heavy-pocketed individuals who disagree and don't mind messing your hair with the top down, Brabus has just the right solution with its new 800 Roadster model that made its world premiere this week at the Geneva motor show.

Brabus Unleashes its Tuning Program for the New Mercedes-Benz A-Class


Mercedes-Benz's longtime tuning partner Brabus has come out with fresh details and visuals on the styling and performance accessories it has been working on for the new A-Class that is just being released in Europe, ahead of the program's world premiere at the 2012 Essen Motor Show in Germany this December.

Previously, Brabus had showed us an A-Class rolling on 19-inch wheels and a sports suspension kit, but the tuner's program is far more elaborate.

Smart and Brabus Celebrate Their Tenth Anniversary with Special Edition ForTwo


In 2002, Mercedes-Benz subsidiary Smart and German tuning firm Brabus formed a joint venture for the development of a sporty lineup of vehicles with the first fruits of their labor coming the following year with the Brabus Coupe and Cabrio models.

Ten years and more than 50,000 customized vehicles later, the two brands are celebrating the milestone with the introduction of a new special edition version of the ForTwo that will be limited to 100 units worldwide.

Brabus Building a Sprinter Super Ambulance with AWD and a 5.5-liter V8


Due to its life-saving role, an ambulance has to be fast enough to arrive as soon as possible to the place of an accident or a medical situation, with the same applying for the drive back to a hospital.
