Reports Suggest Spyker B6 May Be Based on the Defunct Artega GT


The Spyker B6 Venator was easily one of the top highlights of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. However, it was only announced just shortly before the show, and nobody was really expecting it. This raised many question regarding the car's development, and the information seemed to point to the B6 being underpinned by the chassis of an already-existing car. New D12 SUV Set to Join Spyker Range in 2016


While the B6 Venator may have been the main point of interest at Spyker's Geneva stand, the 911-figher isn't the only vehicle with which the Dutch automaker is trying to boost its sales volumes.

It already has the C8 Aileron in its lineup, of which they have sold around 300 units since its 2008 introduction, at a price of around $245,000 (€189,000), and from 2016, the range will get another new, but quite different, model.

Spyker B6 Venator Treads Out in the Open at the Geneva Motor Show [w/Video]


We've always appreciated Spyker for their unconventional aircraft-inspired designs and the level of detail and craftsmanship put into their interiors. Thankfully, their all-new B6 Venator Concept, revealed in Geneva is more of the same. If you know their older cars, then taking one look at this will immediately tell you what this is.

The B6 is a compact, Porsche Boxster-sized car, with its engine mounted in the middle of its all-aluminium chassis clad in carbon fiber. Providing the car's motivation is a V6 engine, which they say produces in excess of 375 hp.

Spyker's Geneva Motor Show B6 Venator Concept and Plans for a Saab Based Model


Dutch automaker Spyker has been in the news over the last two years, but not because it produce any new models, or concepts, but due to their failed endeavor of buying Saab. The move turned sour, and Spyker was left in debt and struggling.

Now, the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show may be the turning point for the company, as the company shared the first photo of an upcoming concept called the B6 Venator Latin word for hunter) with the Wall Street Journal.

New Geneva Motor Show-Bound Spyker B6 Concept Car


Dutch sports car marque Spyker, which almost went belly up along with Saab after it acquired the latter from General Motors (we all know how that ended…), is heading to the 83rd Geneva International Auto Salon that runs from March 7 to 17, with a new concept model named the B6. Read more »

Spyker Files $3 Billion Lawsuit Against GM Over Saab Bankruptcy Case


Dutch automaker Spyker N.V has filed a lawsuit against General Motors for over $3 billion (€2.4 billion) in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Spyker is accusing GM for tampering with the Saab bankruptcy case.

This rather unprecedented news coming after Spyker says GM was "tortiously interfering with a transaction" that would have allowed Chinese investors Youngman Lotus Automobile Group to take hold of the Saab brand.
