2014 Honda Odyssey Mildly Revised, Gains…Built-In Vacuum Cleaner


As it has become apparent in recent years, it is extremely difficult for automakers to come up with something new and fresh to woo buyers their way. Honda seems to think it has a pretty good idea with what it's calling the HondaVac – an in-built vacuum cleaner that can be specified on the 2014Odyssey, which has just been revealed ahead of the 2013 New York Auto Show. Honda Confirms Facelifted 2014 Odyssey Minivan for New York Auto Show


The redesigned 2014 Honda Odyssey joins the list of new cars heading to the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) for their world premiere.

Like many other carmakers, the Japanese company won't share much about its new model until the auto show kicks off on March 29 (for the press). In fact, besides an image of the "Odyssey" logo made out of cereal […], the only other piece of information we get about the refreshed people carrier is that it will include "some innovative new features".

Honda Recalls Over 748,000 Pilot and Odyssey Because Airbag May Be Missing Rivets


Honda's American division is recalling certain model year 2009-2013 Pilot and 2011-2013 Odyssey passenger vehicles manufactured from March 13, 2008, through December 21, 2012, after it was discovered that one or more rivets that attach the airbag module to the airbag cover may be missing.

The Japanese carmaker informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that the recall affects 748,481 vehicles sold in the United States.
