How to Turn a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider into a Family Car for Five

We could always be wrong, but from the little we know about Italian exotics, the creative minds in Maranello designed and developed the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider for two people - a driver and a passenger.

Perhaps the owner of this bright yellow 458 Spider in Dubai was in a time squeeze of sorts, or maybe his Rolls-Royce Phantom limousine and Range Rover SUV were both unavailable.

$3 Million eleMMent PALAZZO RV is a Super Luxurious Yacht on Wheels [w/Video]

If you live in a small flat for which you pay far too much in rent, then you won’t really like this $3 million RV built specially for oil sheikhs – the ones who pick which G65 (not 63) AMG they are to use to conquer the dunes on any given day (gold-plated, platinum-plated or gold- and platinum-plated with ruby accents and carefully carved Citrine crystals for indicators).

These people will feel right at home in the newly-launched eleMMent PALAZZO by Austria's Marchi Mobile, which gets a double capital M in its name, and it alone is reportedly worth around one quarter of the entire asking price.

Range Rover Turned into Stretch Limousine with a Strange Hump on its Roof

The previous generation Land Rover Range Rover is not exactly a car that lacks interior space or luxury. However, there are people in Dubai that beg to differ, as the following video proves.

The footage shows a very long Range Rover – probably at least 1 meter (39 inches) longer than the standard model – sitting in the parking lot of a hotel in Dubai. The driver of the luxury SUV turned limousine is separated from the passenger area, which is hidden from curious eyes by the darkened windows.

Would You Enter a Competition to Test Drive the Jaguar F-Type?

Few will deny (here's someone ) that the new F-Type is one of the most interesting Jaguars of recent years, but is it that interesting to warrant a competition for consumers to test drive the roadster model that goes on sale in the U.S. this month at a starting price of $69,000?

Well, if you want our opinion, the answer is likely no, unless we're talking about an extra special test drive, something we don't see in Jaguar's press release on the matter:

Holy Cop Cars! Watch Dubai's Crop of Super-Fast Police Interceptors

After watching the following videos, two of which come to us courtesy of GTV FZ-LLC, we won't blame you for asking where to sign up to become a police officer for the Dubai Police Special Car Unit.

In the clip, we see a 426hp Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe, a 660hp V12-powered Ferrari FF and the 350km/h (218mph) Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, but that's not the entire fleet, as according to GulfNews, the dream-team of Dubai's cop cars also includes an Aston Martin One-77 (yes, one of 77 made!), a Bentley and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG!

Chevy Camaro Comes Out of the Closet in Dubai

If Ken and Barbie ever wanted a fifth-generation Camaro to replace one of their many cute cars, Mrs. Foxy here would no doubt be one of their best options.

The light-pink colored (or wrapped, we're not entirely sure) pre-facelift Chevrolet Camaro Coupe with the white stripes, accents and wheels, naturally caught the eye of YouTube author Patrick3331, who found it parked in front of at what looks like a hotel entrance in Dubai.

You Can't Run, You Can't Hide: Dubai Police Gains Lamborghini Aventador Squad Car

Using a very fast sports or super car as part of the lineup of rides the police have at their disposal is not really all that new. The Italians, the Germans, the British and even the Romanians have really fast vehicles which you simply could not outrun, and now there's a new kid on the block, this time from the Middle East.

The Dubai police force has just put its hands on a brand new Lamborghini Aventador, which has been converted into a high-speed patrol car. We may be mistaken here, but isn't this the most expensive cop car in the world?

Watch Croatia's Rimac Concept_One EV Silently Smoke a Ferrari 458 Spider

The makers of the very exclusive and even more expensive Rimac Concept_One are currently doing a tour in the Middle East to show off their all-electric supercar to potential buyers, and while they are at it, they filmed a short in duration, but quite interesting in content, video of the battery-powered model.

What they did is place the Conept_One next to a Ferrari 458 Spider on a side street adjacent to a parking lot and let the two supercars do a quick drag race.

What Do You Think of this Hamann-Prepped BMW M5 F10? [w/Video]

What is that we hear; you didn't find the looks of Hamann Motorsport's new BMW M5 F10 "Mi5Sion" model extreme enough? No problem says Hamann, which displayed this limited edition of the Bavarian carmaker's performance saloon at the Auto Trader Live luxury car show in Dubai.

Hamann went all crazy on the individualization of the M5 changing, or in its own opinion, enhancing the look of most body panels, from the vented hood and bespoke double kidney grille, to the rear diffuser and the double spoilers at the back.

Obama’s Cadillac Limousine Chokes in Israel after Being Fed Gas Instead of Diesel

President Obama’s Cadillac limousine, nicknamed "The Beast", broke down during the first day of the U.S. leader’s official visit to Israel. Something similar happened two years ago, when the presidential limousine was stuck on a ramp while exiting the U.S. Embassy in Dublin, Ireland. Read more »

Israeli Army Uses Autonomous Cars to Patrol Borders

While it may take a few years for autonomous vehicles to change the way we travel, unmanned machines are already successful in some areas. Autonomous vehicles programmed to detect intruders, for example, guard some of Israel’s borders. Read more »

What the Bling? Ever Dream of a Coin-Wrapped Range Rover or G-Class?

Have you ever heard of cars wrapped in coins? Neither did we, but in the oil-rich Middle East, this is one of the most peculiar customizing techniques for auto enthusiasts. Forget wrapping your car in gold foil, everybody can do that. This coin-wrapping stuff is much rarer and harder to do.

The Range Rover in the video below uploaded by YouTube user Patrick3331 has no less than 57,412 coins attached to its bodywork!

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6: It's Real, It’s Wild and It's Entering Production

Arab sheiks watch out because Mercedes-Benz is coming (once again…) after your petrol dollars. If the new twin-turbocharged V8 and V12 AMG versions of the refreshed 2013 G-Class aren't special or capable enough, the brand with the star has prepared a zanier iteration of its classic off-roader, aptly named the G63 AMG 6x6, but feel free to call it "das tier"…

In case you didn’t notice it in the pictures, the "6x6" refers to the new model's six driven wheels. Benz didn't exactly design the SUV from scratch, as it is based on a special military version of the G320 CDI made for the Australian army and which is in use since 2011, according to an Autoweek report.

Oh No, SUV Stunt Goes Painfully Awry in the Middle East

Two men clinging on the sides of an SUV (is that a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 or something else?) that's tilted on its side with two wheels off the ground and driving in circles on an uneven and bumpy surface; what could possibly go wrong?

Sure, a few people willing to risk their lives and well-being have done it with success before, but your chances of coming out unscathed are clearly against you.

Gulf Lotus X12 is One Giant Hodge-Podge of Ugliness

As much as we tried, there's no other way to put it; the Gulf Lotus X12 is simply one of the most garish looking SUVs we've ever laid eyes on.

While we found many elements from other vehicles, ranging from the BMW-sourced tail lamps, and –inspired boot design, to the Hamann EVO-like vented bonnet and the Hummer or Toyota FJ Cruiser-shaped windshield and front roof styling, we weren't able to decode what car has been sacrificed to offer its platform for the customized body.

Arabs Drive a Hyundai on Two Wheels and Change a Tire at the Same Time!

Driving an automobile on two wheels is a pretty cool trick, but it's one that has been done over and over again in the past.

Driving a vehicle on two wheels and simultaneously having a passenger open the door to change one of the two tires in the air, now that's something you definitely don't get the chance to see very often.

Brochure Reveals Interior of Lykan HyperSport, Which Costs Twice as Much as a Bugatti Veyron

Some of you were wondering what the interior of the Lykan HyperSport looked like when Lebanese-based W Motors unveiled the car at last month's Qatar motor show with blacked out windows.

While we still don't have live photos yet, we did discover a digital copy of the official brochure, in which the company shares renderings of the cabin.

Lykan Hypersport is the Arab World's First Supercar, Costs $3.4 Million and has 750hp

With a voracious appetite for all kinds of supercars and plenty of wealth to sustain it thanks to its oil-rich real estate, it shouldn't come to as a surprise that the Arab world has finally managed to produce its own hypercar in the guise of W Motors's Lykan Hypersport, which was introduced at this week's Qatar Motor Show.

While many questions remain unanswered, what we do know about the Beirut-based company's edgy-looking (some may say, Lamborghini-esque) Lykan Hypersport is that only seven cars will be produced, each carrying a base sticker price of $3.4 million (about €2.4 million at today's exchange rates), which includes a $200,000 limited edition Cyrus Klepcy watch.

Watch a Helicopter Deliver an Aston Martin on Top of Dubai's Famous Burj Al Arab Hotel

Transferring vehicles in the air by helicopter for promotional purposes is nothing new in the world of exotic luxury and sports car brands, as we've seen it being done many times in the past (see how Lamborghini, Ferrari and Bentley did it by clicking the respective links).

Nevertheless, Aston Martin can lay claim to being the first to place a car onto the helipad of the world famous 'Burj Al Arab' hotel in Dubai, which sits 1,000ft above the ground at the top of the sail-shaped building, as part of its ongoing celebrations for its 100th birthday.

Hagwalah: That Was, Way, Way Too Close for Comfort…

The only thing that's more senseless than hanging out of a car that is practicing the outlawed Saudi Arabian style of drifting known locally as 'hagwalah' is to stand on the side, or even worse, in the middle of the road, to watch the spectacle.

And let's say you do, if a car is drifting slide-ways towards you at high speed, shouldn't you at least start running away as fast as you can?
