EuroNCAP: Dacia Finally Improves on Safety with First 4-Stars, Nissan NV200 Fails to Impress


EuroNCAP’s latest test session will surely be remembered by Dacia as the new Sandero brought the Romanian brand its first-ever 4-star rating. The Nissan Evalia (NV200 in North America) was only awarded 3-stars, while the Renault Captur and Chevrolet Trax both achieved the maximum overall 5-star rating. Read more »

GM Re-Badges Nissan NV200 as the 2015 Chevrolet City Express


Well, this was something we weren't expecting; in a not so flattering move for a company of the size and the likes of General Motors, the Detroit automaker has decided to enter the small commercial van segment in its home market, not with one of its own creations but by placing the bow-tie badge on the new Nissan NV200 and naming it the 2015 Chevrolet City Express.

"Our fleet customers have asked us for an entry in the commercial small van segment, so this addition to the Chevrolet portfolio will strengthen our position with fleets and our commercial customers," stated Ed Peper, U.S. vice president of GM Fleet and Commercial Sales.

Nissan NV200 Mobility Taxi Shows It Is Wheelchair-Friendly at NY Show


It seems that Nissan is trying to place itself in the background of two of the most iconic postcards one can hope of ever sending: from New York, and London. Nissan Stages U.S. Debut of Juke NISMO, 2014 370Z NISMO and GT-R Track Edition in Chicago


This week's Chicago Auto Show is playing host to the U.S. premiere of several new and performance-orientated Nissan models, including the 2013 Juke NISMO crossover, the 2014 370Z NISMO Coupe, and the limited-production GT-R Track Edition, all of which have been seen before in other markets, while the Japanese brand is also displaying the production 2013 Nissan NV200 cargo van. Nissan Shows Off e-NV200 Study at IAA in Hanover, Expands Cooperative Testing with FedEx


After a world premiere at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show in January, the Nissan e-NV200 pure-electric concept is now being displayed at this week's 64th IAA Commercial Vehicle International Motor Show in Hanover, Germany.

Along with the regular concept finished in white, Nissan is also showcasing an example decorated with Nissan and FedEx graphics and logos as the two companies announced an expansion of their cooperative testing.

Nissan's 370Z Facelift, Juke NISMO and NV200 Taxi to Make European Debuts in Paris


While the new TeRRA crossover concept will no doubt be the highpoint of Nissan's Paris Motor Show stand, the Japanese automaker will also bring several new production and prototype cars to the City of Light for their European premieres.

These include the subtly refreshed, 2013-specification 370Z Coupe and Roadster that receive a newly styled front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights lights on both corners of the bumper along with new color options and wheel designs.

First Videos of Nissan's New NV200 London Black Cab


Nissan is trying to get a piece of the London Black Cab pie with a new version of its NV200 taxi van, which has already been chosen as an official cab for Tokyo and the exclusive New York City 'Taxi of Tomorrow'.

Following the release of the first pictures of the NV200 London Taxi, Nissan has now dropped two new videos of the six-passenger model that hopes to compete against the traditional LTI TX4 and the more modern Mercedes Vito in the city's 22,600-strong cab market.

Nissan Eyeing London Black Cab Market with New NV200 Taxi


After winning the hearts and minds of New York City officials with the NV200 Yellow Cab, Nissan is aiming to do the same in the city of London.

While athletes from all over the world compete in the 2012 London Olympic Games, Nissan presented its vision for the city's black cab of the future aptly named the 'NV200 London Taxi'.

You may have noticed from the pictures that the 'black cab' version of the NV200 features a visibly wider front track (200mm to be precise) than the NYC model with blistered wheel arches as well as new side steps.
