Kia Offers Free Maintenance Program for New Cadenza Sedan


Lifting a page from luxury carmakers like BMW that offer free service for their cars (50,000 miles / 80,000km or 4 years, whichever comes first), Kia announced on Thursday a complimentary scheduled maintenance program for its new Cadenza mid-size sedan.

The Korean carmaker's free service program covers the first five factory-scheduled appointments and is valid for 36 months (3 years) or 37,500 miles (60,400km).

Consumer Reports Takes the New Kia Cadenza for a Quick Spin


Based on the same platform as the Hyundai Azera sedan, the new Kia Cadenza is an understated car, which looks to have a quality interior and good space. Despite the fact that it is not yet available for purchase in the States, the Cadenza has been driven by Consumer Reports (CR), and it seems that they were pleased by the big Kia. Read more »

NAIAS 2013: Kia Enhances U.S. Lineup with New Cadenza Mid-Size Sedan [Updated]


At the Detroit Auto Show, Kia revealed a new model for the American market named the Cadenza. The mid-size sedan is not new, as it was first launched in South Korea as the K7 back in late 2009 and was recently subjected to a facelift.

As is the case with most vehicles in Kia's lineup, the Cadenza is related to a Hyundai model and in particular, the Azera.

New Photos and Videos of Redesigned 2013 Kia K7 Sedan


When Kia first announced the facelifted 2013 K7 sedan (named Cadenza in markets outside Korea) at the end of October, we only got a pair of pictures showing the front- and rear-quarters of the mid-size model.

Facelifted 2013 Kia K7 / Cadenza Sedan Looks to K9 / Quoris for Inspiration


A couple of weeks ago, Kia showed its revamped K7 mid-size sedan, also known as the Cadenza in overseas markets, to a select few in South Korea with a handful of pictures making their way online to afford us our first look at the car, which is related to the Hyundai Azera.

On Monday, Kia officially revealed the 2013 model K7 in its home market of Korea where it also announced that the mid-size model will go on sale in different regions around the world during the first half of 2013 as the Cadenza.

2013 Kia K7 / Cadenza Sedan Unveiled During Korean Event, will be Sold in North America


It's not difficult for Kia to come up with a mid-life refresh for its cars as the Korean company is constantly updating its automobile range and together revising its design language.

Back in September, CarScoop reader Sach Mathur spotted Kia testing a camouflaged K7 sedan in Colorado, which not only confirmed the pending facelift but also the brand's intentions to launch the car in North America, most likely under the Cadenza nameplate.

Today, pictures of the updated K7 shot during a special presentation in South Korea made their way on local forums and websites.

U Spy: Looks Like the 2014 Kia Cadenza will Receive a Facelift for North America


We are approaching the three-year mark since Kia released the K7 sedan in its home market of South Korea and in other regions as the Cadenza, and even though the mid-size saloon was slated for a North American launch at the end of 2011, it has yet to reach U.S. and Canadian showrooms.

Last year, two eagle-eyed CarScoop readers each spotted a completely undisguised version of the Cadenza on U.S. highways. While Kia officially remains silent about the car's North American debut, Autonews recently reported that the Cadenza will go on sale next summer as a 2014 model.

This brings us to these photos of a disguised Cadenza prototype nabbed on camera by CarScoop reader Sach M. in Colorado.
