Only hours after our spies piqued our curiosity with a boatload of far-away shots from the filming set of Transformers 4 at the GM Proving Ground facility in Michigan, and which included the new Bumblebee, Michael Bay did it again and dropped an official photo of the car. Read more »

Scoop: Transformers 4 Robots Undisguised, Including New Camaro Bumblebee [33 Photos]

The best thing about the Transformers movie series is catching a glimpse of the new vehicle characters before the film hits theaters. According to some, the worst thing is actually watching the movies, though, opinions may vary on this one….

Back to the pre-viewing part of this story, while cruising around GM's Proving Grounds center in Michigan in search for prototypes, our spies were surprised to see a filming crew for the upcoming Transformers 4 blockbuster, and together, an assortment of new Autobots, including the new Bumblebee dressed in a 2014 Camaro Coupe suite.

Besides the trademark yellow and black color scheme, the new Bumblebee model sports a slightly different front end than the facelifted 2014 Camaro with an even tighter grille and headlamp assembly plus a restyled bumper, along with a fixed rear spoiler, a grounds kit and a vented rear bumper.

James Bond's Lotus Esprit Series 1 Submarine Car Going Up for Auction

Of all the cars featured in the 23 James Bond films, two stand out the most, beginning with the original Aston Martin DB5 used by Sean Connery in the now classic 1964 Goldfinger and 1965 Thunderball movies, which was sold for a paltry £2.9 million (US$4.4 million / €3.4 million at the current exchange rates) during its 2010 London sale.

The other one is the Lotus Esprit Series 1 ‘Submarine’ Car used more than a decade later in the 1977 film The Spy Who Loved Me, starring Roger Moore, and now, it could be yours – well, theoretically, that is.

Check Out This Featurette for the Upcoming "Rush" Movie

After having seen our fair share of mediocre and bad car- and motorsports-related films, we were wondering whether the genre was getting a star any time soon. Then “Rush” came along, promising a well-documented dramatization of the 1976 Formula 1 championship, and more specifically, the personal battle between Niki Lauda and James Hunt, who raced for Ferrari and McLaren respectively. eBay: Own The Lime-Green Mitsubishi Evo that Paul Walker Drove in 2 Fast 2 Furious

If you ask me, the second movie in the Fast and Furious franchise, called "2 Fast 2 Furious", was by no means a worthy successor to the original. The choice of cars was silly (pink convertible Mitsubishi Eclipse among others), and so were the incoherent plot and contrived story. Read more »

First Official Video of 2014 Need for Speed Movie

Over the past few months, we've seen photographs (scoops, if you will), and even a couple of videos from the film sets of the Need for Speed movie, which is scheduled for release in March 2014, but they were all shot by fans, nothing official, until earlier today, when Ford shared a picture of the hero car, a specially designed, wide-body 2013 Mustang.

If that picture got your engines running, then the first official video from the makers of the movie will surely hit some high revs.

Fast & Furious Six: A Perspective from Down Under

Being based in New Zealand poses some difficulties - driving is done on the wrong side, outsiders think we all resemble Hobbits and movie releases can be a bit behind the rest of the world. So watching the latest Fast & Furious had to be done upside-down and a few days after the American premier. Not to worry, technological advancements in fibre optic Pigeons can now allow me to relay a perspective from down under.

Now, when it comes to movies, I must confess to having simple flavors - Action, Comedy and Anne Hathaway. So naturally, when I caught wind of the latest installment of the Fast & Furious I knew the action box was 'pre-ticked' for one's cinematic enjoyment.

Spoiler Alert! We Watched Fast & Furious 6 and Here's What We Think About It

Who would have thought that the sixth installment of an action franchise like Fast and Furious would race to the top spot of the U.S. box office on Memorial Weekend earning an impressive $98 million from Friday to Sunday, beating the Hangover III ($42 million) and Star Trek Into Darkness ($38 million)?

What's even more surprising is that the series had endured for 12 years and there's no end in sight as the seventh FF is in the works with filming to start this summer, with Universal having confirmed at Cinema Con that the movie will be released on July 11, 2014.

The reason why we're mentioning all this is to tell you that we went and saw Fast and Furious 6 (FF6) on Saturday. We are no movie critics and we don't pretend to be, but since we did see it, we thought it would be a good idea to share our ramblings on FF6 and more importantly, ask all of you who watched the movie to do the same in the comments section. Before you do that, though, allow us to warn you that there are spoilers within.

More Than 300 Cars and 2 Real Tanks Used in Fast & Furious 6 Movie

You expect a lot of cars to be used up on a movie set, where many identical models are needed for various scenes, in which you end up perceiving them as one when watching everything after it’s been properly edited.

Furthermore, if said movie also happens to be part of a street racing series, like the Fast and Furious franchise, you expect the number of used cars to be high. In the case of the sixth installment of the Fast and Furious series that hit cinemas today, it’s 300 cars.

Watch Fast & Furious Cast React in Shock After Learning Car Prices in Singapore

We often hear from our many Singapore readers in Carscoops' comments about the ludicrous car prices in the country, but it never gets old. While most of the cast from the Fast and Furious movies is portrayed in the franchise as genuine gearheads, in reality they aren't as near as knowledgeable, which makes their reactions upon learning about car prices in Singapore absolutely…priceless.

In a video interview about the sixth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise on Razor TV, journalist John Lui came up with the smart idea of asking the actors to guess the prices of cars in the country.

Adding to the many Marvel Comics-based movies coming out from Hollywood these days, is "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", which Moviefone says, picks up where "The Avengers" left off.
