You Just Won't Believe This Reckless Cop and How This Story Ended

If watching this police car camera footage and more importantly, learning what took place after the incident ended, doesn’t make you angry, then you're probably walking around with a glowing ring over your head…

Off-duty Baton Rouge (Louisiana) police officer David Stewart was driving his patrol car on April 30, 2012, just outside his jurisdiction, when he noticed a Ford F-150 truck driving erratically and nearly twice the 45 mph (72km/h) speed limit. Stewart decided to take action and signaled the truck to pull over. The Ford driver continued to disregard the cop for a few miles, but in the end, he decided to pull over.

Elderly Lady Fogs Out of Luck and Crashes [NSFW]

You know it's a bad sign when a video starts with an elderly passenger asking the elderly driver on the highway "What do you see?" only to get the response "Nothing".

And you can pretty much guess what's going to happen next when the same passenger advises the senior woman driver, "Well turn on your headlights and pull over" to which she replies, "I don't know how"…

New 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor Combines 365HP V6 Turbo with Short-Wheelbase Body

Ford is reviving a name from the past for its all-new 2014 F-150 Tremor that introduces the Taurus SHO's more powerful 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 into the pickup truck's range. The "Tremor" moniker was used in a 1998 Explorer Concept SUV fitted with a V8 engine and made its appearance on a special edition version of the Ranger truck in the 2000s.

On the F-150, Tremor translates into a sportier edition of Ford's highly-popular truck series highlighted by the use of the 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 with 365 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 420 lb.-ft. (567Nm) of torque at 2,500 rpm, on the regular two-door cab model with the short-wheelbase.

Ford Kills the F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition

Ford has discontinued the Harley-Davidson edition of its popular F-150 pickup truck, a company executive told Automotive News.

"We don't have plans for one at the moment. We've got 10 models including a brand-new Limited Model, which was new for 2013. We feel like we've got the market really well covered," said Doug Scott, Ford's truck marketing manager.

Scott said the Harley-Davidson model typically made up only 1 to 2 percent of the F-150 total sales. On the other hand, sales of the range-topping Platinum version of the F-150 have exceeded expectations, consequently, the Harley-Davidson edition was dropped.

Hennessey Gives Us Another Video Look at its F-150 Based VelociRaptor SUV

Hennessey is hell-bent to keep the fading American motto "bigger is better" alive with creations like the VelociRaptor, which is a Ford F-150 Raptor super crew-cab pick-up truck dressed up as an 8-seater SUV.

We've already seen the VelicoRaptor, but Hennessey released a new video of the SUV with the somewhat misleading title "Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV in Action" – and we say misleading as there's not really much action and when there is, we hear a music background and not the V8's roar.

How Do Europeans View the Ford F-150 Pickup Truck?

The Ford F-150 – or any full-size pickup truck, for that matter – is a rare and ultimately, curious sight in Europe. Owning one certainly requires a major commitment for someone living in the Old Continent, as high fuel prices and very narrow city roads make it particularly difficult to enjoy or even use the F-150 on a daily basis. F-150 Lives Up to its Built Ford Tough Promise After Container Falls on Truck

If Ford is looking for a real life example to promote its "Built Ford Tough" marketing campaign, perhaps they should take a look at this incident that took place on the premises of the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada on Tuesday.

Carscoops reader Matus Burik happened to be walking outside the university when he saw a Ford F-150 pickup truck in a…low-rider mode sitting under a large dumpster that had just tipped over.

Trophy Truck Almost Snaps in Two After Jump Goes Wrong

Each type of motorsport has very specific and highly specialized requirements. If it’s Baja-style trophy trucks you’re into, then what you need is a featherweight body, strong tubular spaceframe chassis and suspension with as much travel as you can get, which at first may look like overkill, but it proves its use when doing jumps like the one in the video we’ve posted below.

It was shot at the Silver Lake sand dunes, a place where many gather to test out their off-road contraptions, and get as much airtime as possible.

For $149,500, Hennessey will Turns the Ford F-150 Raptor into the 8-Seat VelociRaptor SUV

With Hummer gone, it looks like the world badly needed a giant SUV, so the creative minds at Hennessey Performance decided to do something about it. Their proposal is the VelociRaptor SUV, based on the Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck. The full-sized SUV offers seating for up to 8 people and picks up where the Ford Excursion left off (for good reason, some may say).

“We are now very excited to be able to offer the VelociRaptor SUV to those who like the Raptor but want more seats and space”, said Hennessey Performance CEO Don Goldman.

Ford Sued by Owners Over Allegedly Defective 3.5-Liter V6 EcoBoost Engines

Car engines have become incredibly reliable, and you really can’t buy a bad car from a mainstream manufacturer these days, in the true sense of the word, because most have been in service in one form or another for many years and have had their flaws ironed out. However, when a manufacturer launches a new series of turbocharged engines that are not based on any previous variant, reliability and durability may prove tricky to master at first.

This is why a lawsuit has been filed against Ford by three vehicle owners from Ohio. They say the source of their displeasure is the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost, which caused the vehicles to “shake, misfire and rapidly lose power” while at highway speeds, this making the problem a serious safety threat.

Fake or Real? Bikini-Clad Woman Goes Berserk on Man's Truck

Have you ever been so mad at someone that you took your frustration on an object in a very violent manner? I guess the answer is yes, as no doubt, we all have reached the tipping point at which reason and logic takes a back seat…or more appropriately in this case, the passenger side of a pickup truck. Shelby Supercharges Ford F-150 SVT Raptor to a Mighty 575-Horses

What do you think is missing from a 411hp sport truck like the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor? Why, more horses and stickers, of course. Welcome to Shelby's interpretation of the Raptor that was introduced today at the New York Auto Show and which will set you back $17,995 (€14,000) for the special items alone, excluding the price for the truck itself that currently stands at $43,630 (€34,000). Watch Tanner Foust Run a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Around the Nürburgring

For obvious reasons, not many people fantasize about driving a pickup truck round the Nürburgring Nordschleife to enjoy its handling capabilities. It's just too wrong, in too many ways.

However, Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust isn't one of those people - and he didn't just think about it, he actually did it. The stunt and rally driver came up with the idea of driving a performance pickup truck, the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, on the world’s most frightening racetrack, the one that drivers affectionately call “The Green Hell.”

Time Out: Gisele Swaps Red for Blonde, and Sports Cars for a Raptor Truck

Pay close attention, and you just might see a Ford F150 Raptor sports truck jumping into the air in the following clip.

The redhead model we came to know in previous automotive adventures as Gisele is now a bona fide blonde, though, everything else about her appearance seems unmodified from the last few times we saw her running around in a wild turbocharged Ford Mustang, a Porsche Carrera GT supercar and a supercharged Cadillac CTS-V Coupe.

Is This Jaguar-Faced Ford F-150 Truck for Real?

With all the bizarre things we've seen after small premium and sport carmakers fall into the hands of large automotive groups thirsty for profits and market-share expansion, we wouldn't be surprised if someone had proposed the creation of a luxury Jaguar pickup truck when the British company was controlled by Ford.

Still, we would like to believe that if someone did throw the idea on the table, a sensible manager would have shot it down immediately…

Ford Atlas Named Autoweek's Most Significant Detroit Auto Show Debut, What Do You Say?

The new Ford Atlas Concept, which previews the future of America's best-selling pickup truck for the past 36 years and the best-selling vehicle overall for 31 straight years, the F-150, has been named by the editors of Autoweek magazine, the "Most Significant vehicle of the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)".

Bob Gritzinger, Autoweek executive editor, explains why:

“The Atlas Concept is clearly Most Significant winner for the things you don’t see, like hidden aerodynamic improvements and weight savings from high-strength steel and interior parts, like thinner seats. Those things add up to significant fuel savings for pickup trucks down the road. A next-generation EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop technology also signals why Atlas is a real game changer.”

Ford's New Atlas Concept Envisions the Next Generation of the F-150 [Photos & Video]

Ford yanked the covers off a new concept model at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday morning showcasing the brand's evolved styling language but more importantly, its future vision for pickup trucks and how they'll improve fuel economy.

The Blue Oval won't say (yet) if the new EcoBoost-powered Atlas Concept directly previews the next generation of its best-selling F-150 series, but the truck's size and overall presence suggests that it does.

“The Ford Atlas Concept previews the innovations that will transform what people expect from their pickup,” said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development. “With 36 years as America’s best-selling pickup, we are absolutely committed to setting the agenda in the truck market.”

While the exterior design of the Atlas Concept aptly evolves Ford's current DNA, the devil is in the details with the automaker making use of an assortment of active aerodynamic elements to reduce wind resistance.

Detroit Three Offer Four-Figure Price Incentives to Clear up Inventories

Fancy a brand-new 2013 Ford Taurus for US$5,000 less than list price? How about four grand off a 2012 Chrysler 200? As the year inexorably comes to its close, U.S. dealerships and, in some cases, manufacturers themselves, are offering price incentives in order to clear up stock.

According to a report from The Detroit News, last week a man in front of Matthews-Hargreaves Chevrolet in Royal Oak, Michigan waved a sign reading, “rebates up to $8,000”.

So, are Detroit carmakers engaging in a price war like in the days of yore that, eventually, led to ruining their business?
