Politically Correct and Incorrect Way of Exiting a Freeway

Are you ready for some informative videos on how to exit a freeway? If you're still reading this, we guess you are so here goes. The way we see it, there are two main schools of thought – one politically correct, and another that is politically incorrect (and possibly…illegal). Read more »

Pikes Peak-Ready Truck With 2,000 HP Can Drift Too…

Drifting is a really spectacular display of vehicle control on the limit, especially when done by pros. In addition, the excitement and interest level for those watching definitely goes up the less likely they think the respective vehicle is to actually be slid around in a controlled fashion. Priceless in Australia: Crazy Old Bastard Shot Me for Doing Burnouts! [NSFW]

We're not going to lie and say we don't like watching or doing burnouts ourselves, but truth to be said, there's a place and a time for these things, and constantly annoying your neighbors by leaving loads of rubber outside their house, isn't something we advised you to do, because you may end up in the same situation as this young Australian named Shane Tenhaguis.

A long running dispute between the 23-year old father from Marrakai in Northern Australia and an unnamed 61-year old neighbor over the former's love for burnouts in his Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore turned violet when the latter had enough and came out with a gun and began firing shots at the young man and his cars!

The ArchDouche of Hazzard Remodels Charger's Front End [NSFW]

True, random burnout meetings on the street can be a fun thing to watch, but they're also illegal, dangerous and if you happen to be the one driving a car, potentially costly.

Just ask the man behind the wheel of the limited-run Dodge Mopar '11 Charger V8 sports sedan who wanted to participate in the makeshift burnout grid on a public road right after a local car show – there's no mention which one it was from the person who uploaded the video, YouTube author "Talontsi97".

Take a Whiff of BMW's World Record Setting 51.3 Mile-Long Drift Attempt

Not that we would mind, but sitting down to watch a video of a car going around a track sideways for 51.278 miles (82.506 kilometers) or 322.5 laps isn't something that most internet viewers would have the patience to do.

Instead, BMW went for a short version of Johan Schwartz's Guinness World Record-shattering drift attempt that was performed in a completely stock 2013 M5 sedan at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

BMW Driving Instructor Smashes World Record for Longest Drift by…47.71 Miles!

You could say that Johan Schwartz is a very happy man these days. Why? Well, because the BMW Performance Center Instructor shattered the Guinness World Record for the longest sustained drift at the BMW Performance Center near Greenville in South Carolina this past Saturday, May 11, 2013.

Actually, disintegrated is a better word for what Schwartz achieved as he topped the previous record set in February in Abu Dhabi at 3.568 miles or 5.74 kilometers, by a whopping 47.71 miles (76.8 km) in an unmodified M5!

Drift King Compares Philosophy Behind Honda NSX to that of Ferrari’s F430

Aside from a very insightful opinion into what makes a sports car great, by comparing an old Honda NSX to a Ferrari F430, the so-called "Drift King", Keiichi Tsuchiya, can also drive both of these cars closer to the limit than most of us could ever dream of. This is probably going to be some of the best onboard driving footage you’ve seen recently, all thanks to the all-important footwell camera, which captures each heel-and-toe downshift and really shows the skill that goes into it. Lada Samara Hits a Wall -Literally- While Trying to Drift

Getting together with your pals at night at a local supermarket's parking lot to film your drifting efforts sounds like a very cool idea until you mess up and find yourself the star on YouTube.

The young driver tries to turn around the (front-wheel drive) Lada Samara hatchback's tail a couple of times using the small pools of water on the lot as a skid pad.

Highway Karma Gets Sweet Revenge on Arab Drifters

It's your typical Middle East 'hagwalah' scene (sans the passengers hanging out of the car); a Hyundai Sonata YF drifting between and alongside other cars on the highway, with a couple of other vehicles following on from behind to film the driver's "accomplishments", and by that, we mean putting himself and other drivers in danger. Porsche Cayman S Goes Snow Drifting and Tops Out at 290km/h – 180mph

With the right set of tires and an experienced pair of hands behind the wheel, a mid-engined sports car like the new Porsche Cayman S (981) can be quite a joyful toy on a snow-covered track, as Sport Auto's Christian Gebhardt proves in this video that was shot at the Hockenheim racetrack in Germany. Meet the Ultimate Pizza Delivery Machine

Perhaps you may remember a competition launched last year by Domino's Pizza and Local Motors to find the "Ultimate Delivery Vehicle". The winning entry was a concept vehicle called the 'Domino's Pack' by Anej Kostrevc from Slovenia, which you can check out in the gallery after the break.

For all intents and purposes, Kostrevc's study for a single-seater model with a tiny Fiat TwinAir engine driving the front wheels would be fine for delivering pizzas, but ask any true car fan, and they will likely tell you that the idea proposed by "Team Door Bangers", sounds far more intriguing from a driver's perspective…

Hagwalah: That Was, Way, Way Too Close for Comfort…

The only thing that's more senseless than hanging out of a car that is practicing the outlawed Saudi Arabian style of drifting known locally as 'hagwalah' is to stand on the side, or even worse, in the middle of the road, to watch the spectacle.

And let's say you do, if a car is drifting slide-ways towards you at high speed, shouldn't you at least start running away as fast as you can?

Woman Whacked by a Toyota Supra During Drift Stunt

Two powerful rear-wheel drive sports cars doing donuts around a woman, what could possibly…go wrong?

In all fairness, the two drivers of the Toyota Supra and Nissan Silvia (also called the 200SX) sports coupes were doing a great job applying their rubbery fragrance on the young lady posing in the middle until one of them started looking at the camera instead of the girl.

Flogging a Gold-Finished Lamborghini Aventador Around an Empty Port Looks Fun

Unless you're stuck in traffic, it doesn't really matter where you drive to enjoy an Italian exotic like the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, but doing so in a gold-wrapped example in an empty port in Miami, is an experience not many people will get in life.

Enter the world of NueVueProductions and its unnamed driver who had the unique opportunity to have some slippery fun with Prestige Imports Miami's Project AU.79 Aventador during the shooting of a short film in Florida.

Polish BMW Drifters Return with New Hoon Video

Just in time for the holiday season, the Polish crew from JBB, an acronym for Jazda Bardziej Bokiem that translates to "More Driving Sideways", has released a new video dedicated to the newly born daughter of one of their drift team's members.

To refresh your memory, JBB had impressed us last December with a short drift film featuring a custom BMW 3-Series E30 that was unleashed on a large truck lot.

Just Some Aussies Hooning Around in an Abandoned Factory

You might not know it yet, but large and empty buildings can actually be an ideal place to burn some rubber and engage in what Australians and New Zealanders like to call hooning.

The crew from LuckyBelt explains:

"Last month we were lucky enough to have access to an old empty factory for the afternoon the day before it was knocked down in Perth, Western Australia. This was the result."

Enjoy Four Minutes of Made in Japan Drift Crashes

Just because some of the best drifters in the world come from the Land of the Rising Sun, doesn't mean that they're all immune to mishaps. On the contrary; they happen all the time.

But if you’re still in doubt, here's a video compilation of drift crashes made by our friends over at Japan's Car@nifty.

Meet the Most Amazing Drifter in the World; Pole Who Lost Both Arms will Leave You Speechless

We might not know them personally, but there are people around us in this world who inspire us to stretch our abilities and come out of our comfort zones to make our life meaningful.

One such gifted individual is Bartek Ostalowski from Poland. What makes Ostalowski so special is that while he had the misfortune of losing both of his arms in an accident back in 2006, he never let go of his life or his passion for motorsports and cars.

In fact, the 26-year old Pole did the exact opposite pursuing his dreams of becoming a professional racing driver. He not only competed in the Polish Championship Rally Raceway Cross and the Polish Cup, but now he's also mastering the art of drifting.

This is What a Tesla Model S EV Burnout Looks and Sounds Like

While fiddling around with Tesla's new battery-powered Model S, the crew at Road&Track magazine wanted to have their 6 seconds of fame fun by performing something that looks, but never really sounds, like a proper burnout.

The result? As one commentator named Jason Pischke put it on the publication's YouTube channel, "Well that was... ummm, I'm just going to go with awkward".

Mini-Me Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S Doesn't Make the Cut at D1GP Drift Event

If you're an avid fan of the art of drifting, you can't go wrong with Japan's D1 Grand Prix or D1GP professional drift series, unless, of course, you stumble upon the wrong car.

We can't say for sure if Gazoo Racing's mini-me Toyota 86 (JDM version of the Scion FR-S) was plagued by a technical problem or if there was nothing wrong and it simply played the role of the rodeo clown, but either way, we can't say we were impressed by its entrance on the track at a recent D1GP drift event in Odaiba, Japan.
