What a Tool! Infiniti FX Driver Hits and Runs Away on Russian Highway

Things really have a tendency to get out of hand in Russia, and a highway crash turns into a felony as an Infiniti FX driver rams a Mitsubishi Colt from behind, launching it into the inner guard rail, causing it to crash quite severely. However, the luxurious Japanese SUV is not seriously damaged, and it speeds away from the scene, disappearing in the distance. Read more »

Infiniti G35 Coupe, Where Do You Think You're Going?

Here's a video shot in the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan that has us kind of baffled, in the sense that we're not sure how the driver of the Infiniti G35 Coupe (unless we're mistaken and it's a G37 Coupe) ended up on the guard rails.

At around the 15-second mark, we see the Japanese coupe entering the main road, but instead of turning, the driver heads straight and violently smashes into the metal rails, with the car then pushing out tons of smoke.

Nissan Compares 2014 GT-R Against 370Z Coupe and Infiniti FX on the Snow

That the GT-R is a high-performance sports car you can potentially use all year round and in a variety of weather conditions (just as long as you can afford the upkeep…), is a well-known and accepted fact, but how good is it really in snow and how does it compare to other vehicles?

Well, that's a question that would be better answered by someone not related to the company itself for apparent reasons, but that doesn’t mean we're not interested in what Nissan has to say about it in a new video it has released.

Infiniti Q50 Lands in Europe with Merc's 168HP 2.2-liter Diesel and 359HP Hybrid Version

The brand-new Infiniti Q50, which made its world debut at the Detroit Motor Show last January, made its European premiere in Geneva and, according to the manufacturer, it is its “most significant car yet for the European marketplace”.

That’s because the rear-wheel drive sedan is designed to compete in the compact premium class where it will face some stiff opposition. Since most Europeans opt for diesel engines, the Q50 will be available in the Old Continent with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel that puts out 168HP (170PS) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.

This Heavily Modded Infiniti FX Comes from Russia with Love

Did you know that Miami-based Vossen Wheels has collaborated with a Russian company named Rus Wheels? Neither did we, and to be frank, we probably wouldn't have paid much attention anyway if it weren't for this picture of a customized Infiniti FX shared by the alloy-wheel specialist. Read more »

Kids Steals Dad's Infiniti and Go for a Joyride, Share Video with the World

If your kids are at that age when they want to test their (and your) limits, and at the same time, show an interest in automobiles, keeping your car's keys out of reach might sound over the top, but it could save you and your kid from a lot of headaches.

We all know that children have, and will always be mischievous. One big difference today is that, when they do something they know deep down inside is wrong, for some reason, they make use of modern technology to record their actions, which, of course, usually turns around to bite them in their behinds later on.

New Infiniti Q50: Live Pics and Video from Detroit Show; What Do You Think About it Now?

The premium sports sedan segment is a hotly contested one, especially in the U.S. market. Infiniti’s novel contender in the class is the all-new Q50 that makes its debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.

On the design front, the G37 replacement's key features are the new “double arch” grille and “crescent-cut” C-pillar, both of which were first seen in the Essence concept that was displayed at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. It also sports a side “character” line that integrates seamlessly with the LED taillights, narrower, roll-formed A- and B-pillars that provide easier access to the interior.

“The Infiniti Q50 reflects the direct influence of the concepts known as the ‘Infiniti Trilogy’, particularly the Essence”, while honoring the iconic design dynamics of earlier Infiniti sports sedans”, said chief designer Shiro Nakamura. “The new Q50’s athletic and tightened appearance blends its lower and wider proportions with enhanced interior roominess to stunning effect inside and out.”

The Q50 is 4,783 mm (188.3 in) long, 1,824 mm (71.8 in) wide and 1,443 mm (56.8 in) tall and features a 2,850 mm (112.2 in) wheelbase. According to Infiniti, its aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cd) is just 0.26 and it has zero lift on both front and rear axles.

Infiniti Tries to Scare Us with New Q50 Sedan's Angry Looking Headlamps

After sharing the news about its new badging theme that will see all 2014 models gaining a 'Q' in their name, Infiniti has presented an official teaser video of the first car to adopt this naming strategy, the Q50.

And what exactly is the Q50, we hear some of you ask? Well, it’s the car that will replace the current G series sedan and which will be formally introduced in a world premiere at January's 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

Scoop: Next Infiniti G Sports Sedan Does the Nürburgring Rounds for the Camera

This new spy video shows the next iteration of Infiniti's G series premium saloon giving it a go on the track that all carmakers, small and large, fine-tune their future products, Germany's famed Nürburgring.

The all-new G series will launch late next year (as a 2014 model in North America) with the world premiere rumored to take place at the Geneva Salon in March, though, we wouldn't be surprised if Infiniti chooses the Detroit Motor Show in January instead.

Infiniti Emerg-e Runs, Breaks Down During Demonstration Laps at Goodwood Hill Climb

One of the more impressive and unique cars to storm up the Goodwood hill climb this past weekend was Infiniti’s first running prototype of the range-extender Emerg-e sports concept, which was first shown at the 2012 Geneva motor show as a static prototype.

The UK-designed and built concept had a slightly awkward moment on Friday during the demonstrator laps, as according to a video filmed by YouTube user 'MrDHandZ', it either broke down or ran out of electric juice at some point during the race and was carried away on a truck.

While surely an unwelcome development, one should not forget that the Emerg-e is an advanced study making its first public outing as a fully-functioning model in a race. On the Sunday hill climb, the Emerg-e completed the run in the hands of Red Bull Racing's Australian Formula One pilot, Mark Webber.

Infiniti Crafts a Premium Family Car Concept out of the Leaf's Platform and EV Components [Video]

This is the Infiniti LE Concept that made its world debut today at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. The LE is a pure-electric, four-door family sedan mechanically related to the Leaf EV.

While this is the first time we see the concept in the flesh, Infiniti has been talking about the LE since the 2010 Paris Motor Show as it intends to put the car in production within the next two years.

"As a ‘production intent’ concept, most of what you see in the LE Concept will become a reality, including its zero emission powertrain, advanced telematics, cutting-edge design, advanced connected services and premium appointments," said Infiniti Americas Vice President Ben Poore.

As a more upmarket model than the Leaf, the larger LE features a more stylish exterior design full of waves and creases, while also sporting Infiniti's new signature double-arch grille and crescent-cut rear-pillar. The sedan model has a rather low coefficient of drag of 0.25.
