One of the less frequently talked-about reasons why many (women) drivers take their eyes off the road and hands off the wheel while operating their vehicle (and crash), is putting on makeup.

If you thought that sexist ads were dead, highly-illegal and frowned-upon by society, think again, because this latest MINI ad from Mexico is squarely aimed at telling women to either drive or put on makeup.

Watch Two Brothers Break the Guinness World Record for Tightest Parallel Park


The world’s tightest parallel park has been set at 131 mm (5.16 in) by Brit John Moffatt on the set of the “Officially Amazing” TV show in Hereford, UK. Quite amazingly, the record was equaled by his brother, Alastair Moffatt, during the same event held on December 10 2012. Read more »

NAIAS 2013: New MINI Paceman John Cooper Works Can Be Yours for $36,200


Is it a hatch; a CUV; a coupe or a pocket rocket? Well, according to Mini, the new Paceman John Cooper Works that made its world premiere at the Detroit Auto Show this week encompasses traits from all those vehicles mentioned before.

If that's what you want, then be prepared to pay a minimum of $36,200 (includes a $700 delivery and handling fee) to buy the sportiest Paceman model in the States.

MINI Gives Brand-New Paceman Crossover its Video Debut


Yesterday, MINI unveiled the production version of the Paceman, which is the three-door version of the Countryman crossover, precisely two weeks before it makes its public debut at the Paris Auto Show.

In response to success of their 2006 John Cooper Works GP, Mini went ahead and revealed to us in early May of this year the newest model to wear its GP moniker.

The 2012 edition of the John Cooper Works GP hatchback is heralded as the fastest production Mini ever made, producing 210bhp from the standard 1.6-liter engine.

MINI Faithful Gather in France for 'MINI United 2012' Festival


This past weekend, from May 11 to 13, some 30,000 Mini enthusiasts from 50 countries around the world assembled in Le Castelle, France, for the 'MINI United 2012' festival breaking the previous record of 25,000 attendees at last year's MINI United at Silverstone in Great Britain.

Most fans turned up in their own regular and customized Minis with some even driving as far as 6,490 km (4,032 miles) from the outer regions of Russia to France.
