Fresh Teaser Shots of 2014 Dodge Durango SUV [Updated]


The 2013 edition of the New York Auto Show may have just opened its doors to the press this morning, but we're still receiving teasers of brand new or redesigned models that will receive their world premieres over the next 48 hours at the Jacobs Javits center.

Check Out the 2014 Dodge Durango's New LED-Trimmed Headlamps


Here's another piece to the puzzle that is the revised 2014 Dodge Durango, which we will have the opportunity to check out in full detail during its world premiere at the New York International Auto Show that starts (for the media) on Wednesday, March 27.

In this picture, we see the 2014 model's newly designed and more contemporary looking headlamps with an LED strip running below the central units. Previously, Dodge had shared two images of the refreshed Durango's new, full width "racetrack" style LED taillights.

Facelifted 2014 Dodge Durango Teased, Gets Racetrack-Style Taillights


Much like almost every other carmaker planning to debut a new or a refreshed model at the rapidly approaching New York Auto Show this year, Dodge too has cropped an image of one of its world premieres, the 2014 Durango, to be precise, and tossed it our way

Said picture shows the facelifted 2014 Durango's brand new rear light clusters that adopt similar "racetrack" style LED tail lamps to the Dart compact saloon.

Dodge Puts Up a Recall Notice for Viper, Ram Trucks and SUVs


The Chrysler Group has issued two separate recall actions, one that affects 3,660 model year 2003 and 2004 Dodge Viper vehicles manufactured from November 1, 2001, through June 30, 2004, and the other, 278,222 Dodge Ram 1500, Dakota and Durango, and Chrysler Aspen vehicles. Read more »

Dodge Expands Blacktop Package to Durango, Grand Caravan and Journey


What began as an option package for the 2012 Challenger before it was made more available to the 2013 Avenger, Charger R/T and Challenger R/T models, is now being expanded to the rest of Dodge's range sans the Dart sedan.

We’re talking about Dodge's Blacktop Package treatment that is now offered on the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan, Durango seven-seat SUV and Journey mid-size crossover, all of which will be on display at the Detroit Auto Show next week.

Chrysler Employee Kills Co-Worker then Commits Suicide, Automaker Idles Down Jefferson North Plant


In a developing story, authorities say a Chrysler employee fatally stabbed a male co-worker at the Detroit company's Jefferson North assembly plant at around8 a.m. Thursday.

Detroit police Sgt. Alan Quinn told reporters that the suspect fled the factory and then committed suicide at the Belle Isle Park. The unnamed man is said to have died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Chrysler confirmed the incident in a short press statement:"Two employees were involved in an altercation inside the plant. One employee was stabbed and unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. The Detroit Police Department is currently investigating."
