EVO Puts Bugatti Veyron GS Vitesse Up Against Pagani Huayra

The latest video from EVO Magazine is not about exact horsepower numbers, or zero to sixty times, as their latest drive is all about how one feels driving two hypercars in the south of France.

The first contender is the classic hypercar choice, the Bugatti Veyron, in Grand Sport Vitesse guise, and it is driven alongside the first right-hand drive Pagani Huayra, which has just reached its first UK customer.

Watch What It's Like to Drive Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse for 3 Days and 1,000 Miles

While the Bugatti Veyron is the absolute superlative of car ownership, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse can only be the…superlative of the superlative. With 1,200PS (compared to “just” 1,001PS in the regular Veyron) and the option of open-top driving, the Vitesse is the fastest roadster in the world, as it can reach 410 km/h (255mph). Furthermore, the massive 8-liter W16 engine catapults the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a mere 2.6 seconds. Read more »

Cheers! Driver Goes for a Beer After Crashing Rare Bugatti T13 Worth Close to Half a Million Dollars

What would you do if you happened to crash not any car, but a 1924 Bugatti T13 reportedly costing somewhere north of £250,000 (over US$390,000 / €295,000) during a race? Well, we'll have to assume that most people would check to see if they're okay first, and then start pulling their hair upon looking at the damage they caused to such a rare automobile. Read more »

Koenigsegg Agera S Hundra Tries Bugatti Veyron On for Size in Lengthy Video

These are good times for those wealthy enough to purchase a hypercar, and despite many regions of the world battling it out with an acute state of economic uncertainty, the market still offers up a wide selection to choose from.

For the more discerning and restrained older customer, there is the Bugatti Veyron – the classic choice, while for the more flamboyant (Oriental) buyer there is the 100th car Koenigsegg has ever built, the suggestively-named Agera S Hundra. Well, actually not this particular one, because its gold-laden interior is going to be used by a wealthy Malaysian collector who commissioned it for himself.

Watch the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Set Its Speed Record

Meet the fastest open-top car in the world – the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. Sure, it may be a familiar shape, but it’s a good shape that was specifically engineered to make it go fast – really fast. In the beginning of April, Chinese racing driver Anthony Liu clocked 408.84 km/h or 255.53 mph at the wheel of the black and orange open-hypercar of sorts, with its top down, of course. Read more »

Watch the Bugatti Veyron Tackle Fuji Speedway with Le Mans Winner Seiji Ara Behind the Wheel

Japanese magazine Motorhead released a video with the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport taking on Japan’s most scenic track, the Fuji Speedway, located at the foothills of Mount Fuji. Driving the 1,001-hp car is 2004 Le Mans winner, Seiji Ara, so expect to see the Veyron driven very fast on a twisty track - something we don’t get to watch very often.

The Veyron is more of a straight-line machine, and its speed records certify that - however, that doesn’t mean it can’t do corners.

Crazy Supercar Ride with Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and More

Only the rare Lamborghini Reventon Roadster and the 1,200PS (1,180bhp) Bugatti Veyron Super Sport meeting up on the road are a good enough reason for gearheads to celebrate, but in this video clip recorded close to the East Midlands Airport in England, you will discover a few more rarities from the world of superfast cars.

Besides a couple more Lamborghinis, including a Murcielago, there's also a Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG DTM Coupe and a TVR Sagaris – and they're all travelling together on public roads at speeds we assume aren't exactly legal…

Watch a Ferrari F430 Play Around with a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 on a Closed Road

If there's one thing we never get tired of, it is watching exotic supercars in action, no matter how old they are.

The 458 Italia has long replaced the Ferrari F430, which was built from 2004 through 2009, but Maranello's previous offering in the segment remains an extremely fast car even by today's best standards.

Rare Bugatti EB110 SS Burns Out its Very, Very Expensive Tires

A few years before the almighty Volkswagen Group came into the picture, the Bugatti brand was brought back to life after nearly four decades of hibernation by Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli who acquired the rights to the name in 1987.

Four years later, Bugatti presented its first modern day car, the EB110 powered by a 60-valve, quad-turbocharged V12 with 553hp (561PS) turning all four wheels through a six-speed stick shift.

Fastest Car in the World Pulled Over by a Policeman on a Bicycle

No thanks to the 2012 Olympic Games, London has become a more heavily patrolled and less friendlier place for cars of any type or price – the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 included.

Still, it's not every day that you see a 1,001-horsepower (986bhp) supercar being signaled by a policeman to follow him on a…bicycle for a violation.

Close Call for Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport During Hill Climb

What’s the point of owning a 1,001PS (987hp) supercar like the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport if you can't actually have some fun in it?

Of course, having fun and crashing a $1.7 million exotic are two very different things, but fortunately for this overenthusiastic Veyron Grand Sport driver, a mishap at last weekend's Prescott hill climb did not end in tears.

Video follows right below the break.

Bugatti Shows the World's Fastest Production Roadster in...Slow Motion

With a mind-blowing 1,200PS (1,184bhp) under its hood and a top speed of 410 km/h (255 mph) in track mode, the new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is the most powerful and at the same time, fastest series production roadster in the world.

Ironically, for the first promotional video about the new supercar after its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show this past March, Bugatti chose to display the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse in a slow-motion clip - perhaps so we can admire all the details.

But enough talk; head on past the break to see the thing in action
