Scoop: Transformers 4 Robots Undisguised, Including New Camaro Bumblebee [33 Photos]

The best thing about the Transformers movie series is catching a glimpse of the new vehicle characters before the film hits theaters. According to some, the worst thing is actually watching the movies, though, opinions may vary on this one….

Back to the pre-viewing part of this story, while cruising around GM's Proving Grounds center in Michigan in search for prototypes, our spies were surprised to see a filming crew for the upcoming Transformers 4 blockbuster, and together, an assortment of new Autobots, including the new Bumblebee dressed in a 2014 Camaro Coupe suite.

Besides the trademark yellow and black color scheme, the new Bumblebee model sports a slightly different front end than the facelifted 2014 Camaro with an even tighter grille and headlamp assembly plus a restyled bumper, along with a fixed rear spoiler, a grounds kit and a vented rear bumper.

Future Cars: Chevrolet Cruzes Into Gear for 2015 with New Corolla and Focus Rival

In the past, General Motors offerings in the small car segment had often people scratching their heads; dismal quality, performance and awkward styling were only just some of the negative headlines.

However fast forward to 2013 and one will find the Chevrolet Cruze has been a godsend for GM after the rather average Cobalt that it replaced. Squaring the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla and Ford Focus straight in the headlights, it's been a sales success. In fact, it's hard to believe that after only going on sale in the States in 2010, that its successor is well under development. Then again, it was presented in 2008 in other markets, so it is time for a new model

2014 Camaro V6 Brochure Leaked, Gains Power Boost and Different Tail Lamps

At the ongoing New York International Auto Show, General Motors pushed the white covers off two versions of the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, the 426hp V8-powered SS, and a brand-new entry, the track-focused, but street-legal, 500hp+ Z/28 that slots right under the ZL1.

Over the next few months, the bow-tie brand will officially churn out the rest of the Camaro models, including the base V6, the range-topping ZL1, possibly a replacement for the 1LE and of course, the convertible lineup. However, as is often the case with upcoming vehicles, leaks are bound to happen…

2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS Revealed on Morning Television Show! [Updated]

Well, here's a new one; the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS was unveiled in the flesh on the Live show with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, with a Camaro5 forum member quickly taking some screen shots of the car that was in the television studio.

The first major redesign of the fifth generation Camaro since its release in 2009 brings a new front end styling with a sharper looking and much slimmer grille piece, different headlamps, a new bumper and black air vents positioned on the center of the hood.

2014 Corvette Stingray Pre-Production Model Spotted with Dual-Boost Gauges!

The story of the 2014 Corvette Stingray has only started to unravel with the world premieres of the Coupe at the Detroit Motor Show in January and the Convertible at the Geneva Auto Salon just last week, as in the coming months and years, the C7 family will grow to welcome an array of new models, engines and editions.

Naturally, the most anticipated model is the successor to the C6 ZR-1 with its supercharged LS9 V-8 engine.

Why are we saying all this? Because a member of the Corvette7 forums had some personal time in and out (but no driving, we're told) in a pre-production Corvette Stingray and he took some photos, including one of the C7's part-digital instrument panel where he spotted something very interesting.

On the left and right side of the tachometer in the Stingray's programmable thin-film transistor (TFT) display are two boost gauges. The current ZR1 features the same gauges, but in analogue form.

First Real Life Photo of the New 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible [Live Stream Video]

There's no denying that the new seventh generation Corvette with the Stingray moniker will sell more cars in North America, and specifically, in the United States, than anywhere else, but GM wants to give an international zest to the series, so it decided to unveil the convertible version at the Geneva Motor Show (March 5-17).

But enough with that; what you really want to know is what's up with this picture and what do we mean with the "Live Stream" tag in our title.

Scoop: 2015 Chevrolet Cruze Sedan Spotted For the First Time

It's no secret that the Chevrolet Cruze has been a critical success for General Motors in a very competitive segment, not only in the States, but worldwide as well, having sold nearly two million unit since its launch in 2008. However, GM isn't resting on its laurels as it has already began work on a replacement model that was captured testing by our scoop photographers in Europe.

While still in an early development stage, the prototype suggests that the next Cruze will have a sharper looking design with a more aggressively styled green house and a lower front end sporting Chevy's new face.

This is What the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible Could Look Like

It's only been days since GM pulled the covers off from the coupe iteration of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray in Detroit, and even though a convertible body style isn't due for another year or so, images of a drop top version surfaced on the internet today.

The pictures were first seen on "The Auto Insider", a site that may or may not be affiliated with a former Jalopnik editor under the same alias, with the author stating, "I might add, this is no render. No pixels were pushed."

New Corvette C7 Poses on Magazine Covers [Update Gallery]

For their own reasons, automakers have their preferences in the media and like to give select magazines and websites (keep an eye on a certain auto blog's 12:01am, 12:02am Ford group postings, for example) press photos and releases well before they distribute them to the rest of the media world.

General Motors is one of many automakers that adheres to these unwritten rules, which is why you're seeing a snapshot of the yet-to-be revealed 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 posing on the cover of Automobile Magazine's next issue.

2014 Corvette C7 Drawings Appear to be the Real Deal

If you were one of those people who believed that GM won't be able to keep the new generation of the Corvette a complete secret until its scheduled official unveiling on January 13, 2013, you're right.

Adding to the official and leaked documents and drawings over the past few months is a new set of sketches from a member of the Corvette forums named "BlueOX", who had this to say:

2014 Corvette C7 Shows its Nose on GM Service Manual

While Chevrolet was releasing the third and in our opinion, less interesting of the…rather tedious video trailers for its upcoming Corvette C7, GM allegedly sent scoop photographer Chris Doane this image from a service manual for the "Front brake cooling deflector kit installation", which he then posted on his Facebook page.

The drawings show the front end of the new 2014 Corvette, which features more prominent and larger headlamps than the current model along with a distinct hood scoop(s) and the front fender air outlet.

Future Cars: We Dream up Chevrolet's 2014 SS in a ZL1 Costume

As many of our readers are probably already aware, Chevrolet is entering next year's NASCAR championship with an entirely new model aptly called the SS, which was previewed in Las Vegas just last month.

The Super Sport racer will be unique to the championship as the production-going road car has yet to be revealed and won't even built in the United States; to find it's country of origin you'll have to get an atlas and turn it upside down; yes that's right, it will be built in the backyard that Crocodile Dundee calls home - Australia.

Based on the Zeta architecture, the new SS won't be entirely new to the market when it goes on sale next year as a 2014 model. In fact, it's GM's second attempt to get the Holden-based Commodore on US shores - with the last try drying up after the Pontiac division was dissolved.

GM realizes that they still have a good product with the Commodore down under, so coinciding with the upcoming Aussie redesign they have given it another chance. This update is expected to bring substantial technological and interior quality advances over the previous G8 / current Commodore.

Latest 2014 Corvette C7 Video Reveals New Digital Gauge

The painstakingly slow teasing of the Corvette C7 continues with one more artsy trailer, this one talking about the calibration of the car, but without really saying anything…

However, what this video does give us is our first glimpse at the next Corvette's digital gauge that occupies the center and the right side of the instrument panel incorporating the revolution-counter that goes up to 7,000 rpm and a central status screen depicting the outline of the car.

New 2014 Corvette C7 Makes Surprise Appearance in Gran Turismo 5 Demo

There's nothing new about automakers jumping in the bed with digital game developers, but we have to say that we were surprised to learn that the upcoming, seventh generation of the Corvette popped up in a couple of demo "screen saver" session in Sony's Gran Turismo 5 (GT5) racing game.

The Corvette C7's appearance in GT5 was not only confirmed, but also filmed by at least separate three players from the GTPlanet forums, who shared their videos on YouTube.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado: A Bolder Visualization of GM's Next Generation Pickup Truck

Move over Ram and F150; this is the new artillery that GM is bringing to the pickup market. The all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is soon to make its official appearance and CarScoop is giving you an early sneak-peak illustration, based on the many prototype models caught on camera.

The current Silverado has been battling it out strongly since 2007, only finishing as bridesmaid to Ford's F-150 on the sales charts, which is one thing for certain that GM would love to change.

The outgoing model has arguably been wearing the bridesmaid's tag when it comes to styling too; sure, it's reasonably appealing with its modern and rugged clothes, but doesn't push any design envelopes. Being a fresh slate for the 2014 model year, Chevrolet is changing this and gunning Ford, Dodge and Toyota head on in the pickup design stakes.

The new all-duty hauler expands on recent GM design themes with it's blunt square-ish and rounded sheet metal pressings. The front is more brash thanks to it's detailed chrome grill (with honeycomb inserts) and headlight surrounds, which incorporate more sophisticated projector headlights and turn signals.

GM Drops New Photo of 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with Less Camouflage

Instead of waiting for scoop photographers to spread the word around, General Motors is relying on itself to…shoot pictures of prototypes of its next generation Silverado pickup truck series.

After the release of a single image and a short video of a 2014 Silverado test car dressed in a squiggly wrap and plastic covers back in July, GM returns with a new photo of its full-size pickup truck, this time with less camouflage.

2014 Corvette C7 Prototypes Pictured and Filmed in New Mexico

One of the most sought after prototype vehicles of the year has been photographed and filmed, not by professional spy shooters, but by a reader and a YouTube user respectively, both in the same place in Red River, a resort town in Taos County, New Mexico, over the weekend.

The photos come to us courtesy of a Jalopnik reader who spotted a large fleet of General Motors' sports cars consisting of five Camaro ZL1s, all current versions of the Corvette C6 including the base model, the Z06 and the flagship ZR1, plus eight covered models that are believed to be prototypes of the next Corvette C7.
