Filmed by Nordschleife regulars from the YouTube channel "Bridge to Gantry", it shows what is believed to be a prototype for the Lamborghini Aventador SV (see our scoop pictures here) speeding through the Nürburgring's bumpalicsious Karussell bend, completely disregarding the painful and obviously costly scrapes to the extended front lip spoiler.

The refinement program begins with the Ferrari model's bodywork that gains newly designed bonnet and bumpers, plus an array of carbon-fibre aero and purely cosmetic parts, such as the front lip and boot lid spoilers, side skirts, rear diffuser, mirror caps and headlamps.

The Huayra makes do with a mid-mounted 6.0-litre bi-turbocharged V12 engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz's AMG division, rated at 720hp (730PS) and 1,000Nm (737 lb-ft) for 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 360km/h (224mph).

The company's CEO Amedeo Felisa said that the 730HP supercar lapped the Fiorano circuit in 1’23’’, which is the fastest time ever recorded by a production Ferrari, including the mighty Enzo. It’s also 30 percent more frugal than the 599 it replaces, with an average consumption of 15 lt/100 km (15 mpg US).
Even though the supercar, which made its Asian debut at Beijing, was the center of attention, the novelty that Ferrari displayed in China is the new powerplant that will power the next Enzo, rumored to be called the F70.
