This is the New Transformer 4's 2014 Camaro Bumblebee Concept

Only hours after our spies piqued our curiosity with a boatload of far-away shots from the filming set of Transformers 4 at the GM Proving Ground facility in Michigan, and which included the new Bumblebee, Michael Bay did it again and dropped an official photo of the car. Read more »

Scoop: Transformers 4 Robots Undisguised, Including New Camaro Bumblebee [33 Photos]

The best thing about the Transformers movie series is catching a glimpse of the new vehicle characters before the film hits theaters. According to some, the worst thing is actually watching the movies, though, opinions may vary on this one….

Back to the pre-viewing part of this story, while cruising around GM's Proving Grounds center in Michigan in search for prototypes, our spies were surprised to see a filming crew for the upcoming Transformers 4 blockbuster, and together, an assortment of new Autobots, including the new Bumblebee dressed in a 2014 Camaro Coupe suite.

Besides the trademark yellow and black color scheme, the new Bumblebee model sports a slightly different front end than the facelifted 2014 Camaro with an even tighter grille and headlamp assembly plus a restyled bumper, along with a fixed rear spoiler, a grounds kit and a vented rear bumper.

Beautiful Pininfarina-Bodied 1963 Corvette Rondine Looking for a New Owner

Not that you really need any further proof that Italian design house and coachbuilder Pininfarina has penned some of the most attractive cars in the world, but here's another example of the fine work the company has produced over the years. It's the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Speciale “Rondine” (Ron-di-nay) Concept built by Pininfarina for the Paris Auto Show of the same year. Read more »

A Visual Comparo Between the 2014 Corvette Stingray and the 2009 Concept Model

Concept cars fall into two basic categories: those that are a flight of fantasy and which you instinctively know will never ever make it past the motor show floors (e.g. the Peugeot Onyx), and those that preview an actual car that’s still some years down the road.

Even in the second scenario, the designers' main objective is to create a concept to wow the crowds at auto shows. They may think inside certain parameters, but they don’t really have to worry about “little” things such as legislation concerning the height of the headlights or pedestrian impact protection. That is what engineers are for, right?

Next Chevrolet Camaro Futuristically Envisioned by Design Student

We still have a few years ahead of us until General Motors pulls the wraps off its next generation Chevrolet Camaro that will go head-to-head with the new Mustang currently being prepared by Ford for launch in 2014, something that gives design students the opportunity to dream up their own vision of the car.

Arkadiy Okhman, a software engineer who decided to go back to school to become an automobile designer, and who is currently a student at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, came up with this, rather overly futuristic, proposal for a next generation Camaro.

Badass Chevrolet Matiz Track Racer with Corvette Z06 7.0-liter V8 up for Sale

This is one Chevrolet Matiz you surely won't be making any fun of; and how could you after you learn that engineers somehow squeezed a massive Corvette Z06-sourced 7.0-liter V8 that develops anywhere from 505 to 550-horses (depending on who you ask) into its miniscule body.

We remember showing you a V8-powered Matiz racecar concept back in early 2009 (see the videos after the break) , and unless someone else had the same crazy idea, we believe that this car found for sale on eBay Germany by CarScoop reader "CobraV8" is the same one with the addition of a racing livery.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7: A Different Design Perspective

Ladies and Gentlemen, what you see here is in fact NOT the much talked about 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7. Though don't worry as there is one coming; Chevrolet is about to unleash its next installment of hyper transport to the world by 2013.

Now, some of you may or may not have seen the many C7 Corvette CGI drawings and videos floating in cyberspace. Supposedly, some of the renderings were based on leaked sources revealing the real thing, although being fair; they all show a nice evolution of the current C6 Vette.

All this has me slightly worried; the current car has been with us since 2005 and deserving of a major design overhaul. Would a simple evolution go far enough?

eBay Seller Accepting Deposits on…2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7

The eBay is a wonderful place to look around and do some online shopping, just as long as you don't get duped… Fortunately, there are some telltale signs that can help you separate the real deals from the duds.

As pointed out by Motorauthority that discovered a vendor on eBay accepting a deposit on the yet to be revealed, let alone produced, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7, the seller named 'shawn4842 'appears to be a private party and not a dealership.

We're going to add that the photos escorting the sale are illustrations made by artist Radovan Varicak for Car&Driver and do not depict the real car – something that should raise another red flag.

2015 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe Design Study: What do Think?

There is a debate going on right now, as to whether Chevrolet designers should make the next Camaro coupe, expected to be introduced in 2015, look more like a first-generation model (1967-1969) or the second-generation version built from 1970 to 1981.

But what if GM and Chevrolet were to take a different path and create something with very few, if any, retro touches?
