Renault Uses Uninspired Ads to Promote Its New Practical Offerings


There are so many ways in which a video ad for a practical affordable vehicle can be made, but it seems that at Renault, having people put in or move out various objects is more than enough.

Sure, it highlights the practical side of these affordable vehicles well, but those in the market for one are already expecting that so it is a bit redundant – it can’t be that hard to make something which is both informative and entertaining to watch with the kind of ad wizardry that goes on behind the scenes.

To the Popemobile: Renault Gifts Two Specially Modded Kangoo Maxi Z.E. to Pope Benedict XVI


The head of the Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI, has received a new set of wheels, courtesy of French carmaker Renault.

The Pope's new ride is based on the pure-electric Kangoo Maxi Z.E. and was developed in association with the French coachbuilder Gruau, while Renault also donated a second vehicle to the Corps of Gendarmerie of Vatican City.
